Spit + Mouth: If indeed the blood is from spit (mouth) you might have an infected tooth, periodontal disease, or soft tissue lesion. The blood could also be from a nose bleed or tonsillitis. If the blood is coughed up, it could be from the lungs or stomach (ulcer). This needs to be worked-up by an md.
