Ive been pretty sick the past few days, bad cough mucus filling in my throat and pain when i wake up. i had a fever but now the fever is gone. feeling better but yesterday and today upon waking i spit and found bright red blood should i worry!?

Is the blood coming from your mouth, in your saliva, or from your lungs after coughing? It sounds like you had acute bronchitis, which is the most common reason for coughing up blood. If you continue to cough up blood or you are coughing up increasing amounts, then you need ot see your doctor. You may need to see a lung doctor as well. If it is coming from your mouth, see a dentist if it continues
