Not really: Why was ca 125 ordered ? What are we looking for? Ask your doctor and yourself. Do you have any complaints of fullness, abdominal pain, bladder problem etc...? We ususally measure these markers after a diagnosis of cancer is made, but not before. Some markers go up slightly with renal failure. Control of diabetes, blood pressure and renal would be recommended. Thank you for asking.
