What could it mean if you have enlarged tongue papillae and no other symptoms?

Probably nothing: Certain papillae of the tongue are normally larger than others, in particular the circumvallate papillae in the back of the tongue. If there are no taste disorders or other abnormalities its more than likely a normal variant.
