Probably not: Hdl of 65 for a man or woman is considered optimal. A total cholesterol of 205 is slightly elevated, but since we do not know the LDL or triglyceride level, it is hard to determine if there is any cause for concern or not. Obtain the results of your complete lipid panel and your physician can then adequately assess your cardiovascular risk based on all of you issues including the lipid panel.
