Maybe: This could be from the nasal bone(s) being fractured. The fractured bones can cause displacement of the bone and narrowing of the nasal passage. If it was a really bad fracture, the septum could be fractured as well. At this point, if you want to breath better you should be evaluated for surgical correction - see your local ent.
