Decay needs to b fix: Tooth decay should be fixed before braces or implants since decay continues to grow. It does not make too much sense if you're replacing a missing tooth with an implant and the tooth next to it is decaying.

Decay, braces: There is a priority in treatment. The first phase of treatment should be to remove decay and treat your gums. Then you can have braces placed. If the position of the teeth is pretty clear, implants can be placed and be healing while you wear braces.

Infection: Tooth decay is infection, as is gum disease. Control infection first. Second, move teeth to ideal positions. Third, do replacements and restorations. This will assure the best post-rx result requiring the least maintenance going forward. Ask your dentist for referral to a qualified orthodontic specialist.
