Will braces and an implant improve my jaw popping if it's due a missing tooth which made my lower teeth to drift?

No: Jaw popping is usually due to the disc that sits between the lower and upper jaw being out of place. Improving your bite will not get the disc back into place. The jaw popping may improve with time through natural adaptation or other treatment options that a tmd specialist would be happy to explain.

Malocclusion: Malocclusion is causative or contributory to the great majority of cases of tmy dysfunction syndrome. With correction of malocclusion 90% of TMJ symptoms get better or disappear entirely, 7% remain the same, and 3% get worse. There are techniques for recapturing the joint that have met with varying degrees of success. You have a multidisciplinary problem. See an orthodontic specialist.

No: No. While a stable occlusion will enhance TMJ health, it won't cure a displaced TMJ disk.
