Return to normal: All questions should be discussed directly with the dentist treating you as he\she is responsible for your aftercare and proper healing of the wound site. Follow all written and\or oral instructions.

7-10 days: The majority of complications following dental extraction occur within this time. Daily activity after the tooth extraction should not exceed 6-10 hours per day. If you are considering exercise earlier, throbbing or bleeding may occur. If this occurs, you should discontinue exercising immediately. Remember, that you are probably not taking normal nourishment and it may limit your ability.

After it heals: Since everyone heals a bit differently and no two extractions, grafts, and patients are exactly alike, I would suggest you follow the directions of your surgeon.
