A member asked:

Can mederma and vitamin e oil both be used on scars at the same time?

Sure.: It's more about the massage with vitamin E oil, which can be done at bedtime or after showering for about 5 minutes. Then apply the Mederma and you have the best of both worlds! nothing will "remove" or eliminate scars, however. Also avoid ultraviolet to prevent premanent hyperpigmentation--as long as the scar is pink keep out of sun or tanning bed.

Yes : As long as no irritation to the normal skin around the scar occurs , using both will be fine. However, it does not mean that by using both the scar will improve.

Certainly, but why?: A pretty good study has shown them to be equivalently effective, so why use both? Save your money and just use the vitamin e.

Yes: Yes, you can use both at the same time. The act of massage is actually very important in scar reorganization. So even using a moisturizer will likely help if you massage the scar a few times a day.
