A member asked:

Is tea more harmful for teeth or chocolate more harmful for teeth?

6 of one: Too much tea can discolor usually the back of the teeth. If you put a lot of real sugared sweetener in the tea, it could equal that of chocolate. Use diet sugar. The roughened area of the discoloration can cause decay to build. Chocolate is pure sugar, but if proper hygiene is done, neither will harm teeth. See your dentist every 6 months to know if you are under control with your use of both. L.
