Discoloration: Tea stained teeth are temporary discoloration that can be taken cared of by the dentist. Unlike staining caused by some drugs like tetracycline among young kids which are permanent.

Electric toothbrush: Very effective way to clean stains because it does a better job of cleaning off plaque/tartar than a manual toothbrush.Rinse mouth w water after drinking tea.Brush/floss daily to remove plaque build up between teeth staining the edges.Old - fashioned baking soda/salt made into paste, brush it on teeth twice weekly, can remove stains.Use whitening toothpaste.
