A member asked:

What's a good way to actually remove tea stains on teeth at home?

Dr. Stan Shih answered

Abrasive: If the staining is on the surface of the teeth they may be removed using a "medium" or "hard" toothbrush with a "whitening " toothpaste. The abrasive nature of the brush and toothpaste may be enough to remove the surface stain. (do not use a medium or hard toothbrush on a daily basis). A dentist can help you decide whether this will work.
