One step at a time: You lost a lot of muscle mass after 11 days of bedrest. It will take time to bulid it up again. Ask for some physical therapy to work with you to retrain your muscles. You can also do exercises in bed to maintain range of motion and start to build up your endurance again.

Slowly exercise: Of course it depends on the type of operation, but in general, you can do leg exercises while on bed, an get help walking around from family and friends, and consider using a walker during the recovery period until you become more reconditioned. You could also ask your doctor about a physical therapy consult either in your home or at an office.
