I'm trying to gain weight for football, what foods do you recommend eating?

Protein: Protein helps to build muscle mass while you are doing weight training and cardiovascular exercise. Eat a well balanced diet and make sure that you are eating and drinking enough to keep you fueled and hydrated. Good luck, play smart, and listen to your coach and your local doctor about how you can stay safe on the field.

Lean protein, etc...: Foods with lean protein (such as chicken breast), healthier types of fats, and complex whole grain carbohydrates would be good choices. Avoid sugars and simple starches. Regarding athletic performance, a person can perform better if he believes he can. That means even if the food is not making a difference, he will do better if be believes the food will give him that personal edge.
