What are your sympto: Treatment will be determined by your symptoms. If you are having severe pain with menses or intercourse and heavy bleeding you may need laparoscopy. If not observation and follow up ultrasound may be the course of treatment.

My pelvic US showed a simple cyst on ovary & a 0.9x0.3cm echogenic lobulated mass, likely representing endometrial polyp vs. intracavitary fibroid with trace free fluid. Is it possible the polyp is cancerous? My PCP ordered a stat referral gynecology?
