Low cost clinics: With an infant at home and being depressed "for a while, " it's possible you've been dealing with post-partum depression. This is a serious condition. Many low cost clinics can be found at: http://www.Needymeds.Org/free_clinics.Taf also there are medical schools with residency training programs in psychiatry & family medicine -- there may be sliding scale visits available. Please check these out!

Contact your Dr.: There are many ways to get help even with limited funds or no health insurance. Consider if there is a mental health center funded by the county or if there is a university nearby. In addition, some providers will reduce their fee. There are on line support groups and PPD support groups that are free or have minimal fees. Contact www.Postpartum.Net for more information.
