See a cardiologist: The feet swelling and his heart problem probably go together. See a cardiologist for the best possible treatment options.

Second opinion : Never unreasonable to seek a second opinion . It is very important that you are comfortable with your physician, are satisfied with the information you recieve from them & the treatment plan they provide.

There are two issues: Here - if you are not happy with your current doctor then why stay with them? Yit is very important you always feel you are getting the best care by your doctor. Swollen feet for months particularly if new is not normal and can certainly be related to heart issues. Can be other things too - need to let doctor be aware of and at least give you a plausible explanation and possible treatment plan.
