Nasal noise: The nose & upper airway of small kids is a bit rubbery & vibrates when additional air is moving through with a cough or deep breath. This can produce lots of odd sounds/squeaks. The inner membranes of the nose can swell & constrict the nasal passages increasing the noise & vibrations.A kids general play activity is a good gauge of how sick they are, so this sounds minor.
