Time, OTC medication: Sounds like viral upper respiratory infection. Increase fluid intake, OTC guifenesin/dextromethorphan, rest, anti-inflammatory. Sharp pain most likely chest wall/pleuritic pain. Worsening symptoms warrant a physician evaluation.
