Learning disorder? : The most common form of add is one that combines inattention, LD and anxiety in one package. Since you have a history of anxiety disorder, & apparently add, then you most likely have the third as well. Check with your doctor about having that investigated. Also be sure you don't use caffeine chocolate or energy drinks as they will worsen anxiety symptoms & make add meds less effective.

Anxiety/ADD: Might want to discuss with your prescribing doctor other alternative medications for add/anxiety since long-acting Ritalin is not as effective. There are alternatives such as wellbutrin, (bupropion) clonidine, remeron, or combination of such.
