I agree: Approximately 6-15% of the population has a low wbc. Women typically have a lower WBC than men. However, it should be periodically monitored. As long as the other cell lines(red and platelets) are okay, i would monitor. You could ask a hematologist to review the peripheral blood smear but probably ok. Hope this helps.
