My wbc total count is in normal range. my neutrophils are 82%, eosinophils 0%, lymphocites 9.9% and have an absolute value of 660. my md said it is typical of virus and ishould get a retest done but i am scared. is this typical?

Well: Doctors trreat patients not numbers. Usually in a CBC for a virus the WBC can be normal or low or high but the neurtophils are low and the lymphocytes are high.

Blood count: Blood count ioesnt ncessarily have to be repeated fter a viral illness unless your doctor suspects something else.

Lab data: The values you quote are meaningless without an understanding of the clinical history and a physical exam. Not sure what is scaring you because the values seem normal. Discuss with the doctor and if not getting adequate responses get a second opinion. Good luck and best wishes.
