Creatinine level 2.56 to 1.59 after completing amoxicillin against md advice (no bacteria in urine but wbc and rbc). any possible explanation?

Yes: You are in kidney failure. That is why your serum creatinine is so elevated. You do not have any bacteria in your urine and that is why your doc said don't bother taking an antibiotic against a nonexistent infection. On the other hand, your kidneys have begun to fail. If you haven't been introduced to a good nephrologist yet get a good intro soon. You will be spending time with him soon.
