See your doctor: The toe dysfunction may be related to your immobilization. However, this is a challenging question to answer without knowing more about your injury and examining you. Rehab/physical therapy is imperative after just about every ankle sprain. There's a good chance that rehab. Will also get those toes moving again.

Have you seen doctor: Need to see specialist and have it evaluated. What tests have you had done? X-rays?, mri? What kind of treatment? Need to have damage assessed and proper treatment provided.
