Dermatologist checks: A dermatologist (skin doctor) can check one's "fatty cysts" to see if they are made of fat, trapped skin secretions or skin cells, neurofibromas, cancerous tumors, or what not. Such "cysts" are hard to describe in words, so an exam is needed.

Agree with Dr. K: It may need removal of one of the "fatty cysts" and examination of the tissue by a pathologist to resolve the issue.
