Retinoids: If there are blackheads in the armpit a topical retinoid-acne cream can be used so that inclusion cysts do not grow larger. Otherwise cysts can be removed by minor surgical procedure if they bother you.

No preventing: Cyst is skin folded inside out--what normally sloughs off is now collected within the walls of the cyst. It clinically looks like a bump under the skin. It often has a follicular opening, thru which the cyst content can drain. However, it will recur even after you squeeze out the content because the cyst wall is still present. The only way to really get rid of it is by excising the cyst wall.
