Healthy food!: Seriously! lots of fruits & veggies (potatoes don't count). But fruit juices aren't ideal. Lean proteins & healthy fats should be fine. Talk to your nutritionist as there are different approaches to eating to treat type 2 diabetes. Mediterranean diet is a good way to eat. Low glycemic index is another possibility. Portion control is key as is avoiding processed foods. And look for lots of fiber.
