What does ultrasound show in assessing swollen lymph nodes in my neck?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Bruce J. Stringer

Size Characteristics: The exam will show the size and evaluate if the normal architecture of the lymph nodes has been preserved or disrupted. The thyroid will probably be examined to check for any evidence of tumor.
