Learning Disorders: Also, known as academic skills disorders, leaning disorders (or ld) could maybe be considered mild mental disorders, although we psychiatrist don't always look at them like that. I say that "ld" stands for "learning differently." any condition can be mild, moderate or severe mostly dependent on the person's overall level of functioning.
