Do you need a diet, exercise, medications etc. When you have a test the dr. Who ordered it is responsible to follow up with you or help you get follow up.

Stress test: Abnormal stress test suggests that the heart muscle may be getting insufficient blood flow during exercise. This finding needs to be further investigated and if necessary treated.

Depends: depends upon the abnormality and the person being tested. 10% or more treadmills with be "abnormal" but nothing being wrong with the person. this may be due to resting ECG properties, a person's habitus or other history (blood pressure). Of course the reason we are concerned is that in the higher risk person, an abnormal stress test may indicate blockages in the coronary arteries.

Nuclear Cardiology: I believe you are referring to a cardiac nuclear stress test. This test involves two scans of the heart - at rest and 'stressed' - using the radioactive isotope technitium sestambi 99, aka Cardiolite or myoview. Contrast is used for both scans. The treadmill portion is the stress is also known as an exercise stress test. The patient will walk until achieving and maintaining a target heart rate.
