Nuclear stress: The risk from a stress test is very low in most patients. In those with certain conditions (like a recent large heart attack, or severe aortic valve disease) the risk may be higher. There is also risk associated with the radiation exposure in a nuclear stress test. It would be very unusual for a 29 year old patient to need a nuclear stress test. Consider a cardiology consult on HealthTap.
