A member asked:

Had nuclear stress test on treadmill today, only got to phase 2,appx 6mins hr 166.bp rose to 150/110 in 1st 2mins,98/69 b4 starting. is that normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be normal.: Mildly hyper tense response to exercise. Unclear significance. Might be worthwhile checking BP at home randomly to establish a good baseline. You may be out of shape. Pictures from test will demonstrate whether or not you had any prior heart attack or any current reversible ischemia.
