Cortisol/Adrenaline: Cortisol is a steroid hormone produced by the adrenal glands. It increases blood sugar, suppresses the immune system & aids in fat/protein/carbohydrate metabolism. Adrenaline is a hormone a neurotransmitter. It is produced by neurons in the central nervous system & in the adrenal medulla. It regulates heart rate, blood vessels & airway passages.
