See below: Normal reference ranges are: serum iron men: 65 to 176 μg/dl women: 50 to 170 μg/dl newborns: 100 to 250 μg/dl children: 50 to 120 μg/dl tibc: 240–450 μg/dl transferrin saturation: 20–50% μg/dl = micrograms per deciliter. All lab results should be interpreted in the clinical context, so consult your doctor.

Iron levels: Serum iron level should be between 50 and 150 ug/dl. This would be listed on the blood test report. Most people would check a complete blood count first and a low iron level would be suggested by a low hemoglobin below 10 g/dl or a hematocrit level below 37%. These are just general numbers. Ask your doctor for an evaluation and lab if you are concerned.
