What is an acth plasma test for?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. David Geffner answered

Specializes in Endocrinology

Test of pituitary: The pituitary makes acth. There are many things however which can raise or lower the level. It should be taken in the am. Ask your doctor why it was ordered.
