Acth plasma test and cortisol am serum test. is 7:15 am an acceptable time for these? also, are there any special instructions for these tests (dietary change, fasting, relaxing beforehand, etc)?

Cortisol level: Cortisol level picks early in the morning and at its highest level at 7 am, strenuous activity the day before and also some medications could affect the result. Relaxing 30 minute before the test is a good idea.

7:15 AM is OK: Hi. We shoot for 8 AM, but 7:15 is OK. You don't have to be fasting.

That is a good time : It is ideal to be on the first week of your period. If on the pill ask your doc about that, . Be sure you are fasting since midnight !

Test preperation: You should be fasting for 10-12 hrs before the test is done. Try to relax the day before the test and refrain from exercise or temperature extremes for 12 hrs before the test. the moring cortisol test should be as close to 8:00 A.M. as possible, give or take fifteeen minutes.
