Balance: Insure that you get in a good vegetable intake with many colored veggies. Fruit is also good -but proportionately there should be more vegetables than fruit. Do over due fruit if diabetic. Add in grains, dairy. healthy fats and proteins. Hydrate well. Avoid refined sugars and excess fats.
