Is brandy good for a toothache?

No.: The high amount of alcohol will burn the gum and give you a tingly pain so that you won't notice the toothache so much. Better to use salt water rinses and see a dentist. Take Ibuprofen for the pain in the meantime.

Not Really: The high alcohol in brandy may temporarily give some pain relief but it will not cure any tooth problems. While drinking some may take your mind off of it, the loss of control and inhibitions may make the pain less tolerable. See a dentist as soon as possible.
