Is it okay to go back to school about 2 weeks after getting breast reduction surgery?

Yes: Yes, but make sure you do not perform any strenuous activities or heavy lifting, as you are still in the healing phase until six weeks after the surgery date.

It would seem so...: About two weeks seems right for recovery from breast reduction in most people. Everyone is a little different, however, but two weeks is probably a good ballpark number.

Possibly.: Every patient experiences a different recovery period after breast reduction surgery. Your plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to returning to specific activities. He/she knows exactly what was done and whether or not you are experiencing any complications. Best wishes.

Usually...: If you are healing well, light activity like attending classes is usually do-able within a week or two. Some cases are larger than others, but younger patients usually recover rapidly when they are healthy.
