A member asked:

Is it common for the knee to hurt if i'm also having hip pain? it is really sore at back/inside tendon.

Yes: Hip and knee pain can co-exist. Hip problems can refer to the knee and vice versa. If a tendon is painful, it could be tendonitis. Try advil (ibuprofen) or alleve, ice, and rest. If no improvement see your orthopedist.

Related pain: Could be. If you are accomodating your hip pain by changing your body position while walking, for example, this may put stress on the joints in a way they were not designed to be stressed. Suggest you speak to your orthopedist about htis. You are speaking to one about your hip? If not, please do so.
