Likely benign illnes: Most 24mo with fever & a rash will have one of many viral illnesses that occur at that age & most have many systems affected by the illness as it spreads through the system. Headache is common in febrile kids old enough to articulate the feeling. A normal CBC is good news & a good basic screen for bad germs. The process should improve gradually or seek a recheck if the kid seems to fade again.
