Nothing major: Nothing major going on here. You are seeing your salivary glands on the tongue more than likely. Could have thrush/a yeast, based upon the white color, but if its not a scrapable coating likely non specific and nothing to worry about.

Tongue bumps: The red bumps on the base of the tongue are lymphatic tissue like your tonsils. They will be enlarged and redder from time to time but is not a problem. Brush your tongue with your toothbrush and the white material will go away.
