Probably lymphatic: It is common to have bumps throughout the lining of the throat. Microscopically they usually look like lymph node tissue. They will flare up when there is any irritation or infection. Usually these are viral in nature. When the infection dies down, they will shrink but not necessarily back down to baseline size.
