It depends: First you need a thorough evaluation including an exam, ultrasound and endometrial evaluation to decide on type of hysterectomy and who is the best person to do it. If laparoscopic hysterectomy is an option then there is a potential for less pain and shorter recovery. The costs would depend on your insurance plan. Good luck.
