6 weeks: It can take 6 weeks for you to be back up to speed after a hysterectomy, although many patients are doing well after 2 weeks. It is important to move, but to not over do. Avoid lifting. Eat a nutritious well balanced diet and drink lots of water. If you have any problems, get in to see your surgeon. Take care!
