Pain: Elevated BP is a reflection of the pain that you are in. Why don't you ask your pain doctor for a longer acting pain medication like the fentanyl patch, Oxycontin or mscontin. You may have better pain control and therefore less hypertension issues. I would also obtain a 24 hour BP monitor and see what your blood pressure is doing over a 24 hour period of time.
