Maybe / maybe: Dizziness and loss of balance has many causes, but seizures are not usually one of them. Anxiety is one cause also. However, it is wrong to assume a psychiatric cause of physical symptoms, until other possibilities have been excluded. See a neurologist!

Dear Jeff24: It's impossible for doctors who don't really know you, to answer your questions adequately do you have a primary care physician? And does a psychiatrist prescribe your celexa (citalopram)? These would be the best doctors to ask when you're concerned about a body sensation. Anxiety can produce all kinds of symptoms (including dizziness), & your own doctors can examine you to make sure all is well. Take care.
