Call your psychiatri: Call your psychiatrist and let him know what is going on asap. I don't know what type of seizures you have or why they have started with the shifting medication. I don't know if you are on anticonvulsant or not but you should contact your psychiatrist and your neurologist and let them know what is going on so they can intervene to get you back under control as soon as possible. Best wishes.

Effexor (venlafaxine) withdrawal: According to wyeth, rapid withdrawal of Effexor (venlafaxine) has been associated with seizures. Also, seizures have been associated with celexa, but no causal relationship has been established nor have any percent risks been given. Seizures may also be part of serotonin syndrome, which can happen with any serotonin reuptake inhibitor at high dose. Second opinion on your meds would be wise.
