I was immunized for hbv as a chile, but recent blood test shows hep b; wil lanother vaccine shot work within a specific time frame?

Need clarification: What do you mean your recent blood test shows hep b? Do you mean it shows presence of the virus? Or do you mean an antibody to the virus? If you actually have the virus (which would be unusual if you were vaccinated), a vaccine will not work.

No: If you have hepatitis b (with a positive hbsag), then there's no benefit to getting vaccinated; you need treatment. But if your blood tests show presence of an antibody (hbsab) rather than an antigen, it just means that your childhood vaccine worked and you're immune.
